MR SL 2020 – Calling for the first audition!

The application for the first audition to MR SL ♛ 2020 is closed. We are happy for the many applications and have reviewed them. The judges would like to see the following aspirants in our first audition next week.

We congratulate these gentlemen. Please read below to know how to prepare for the audition.

STYLING & POSES

• • • Please prepare an outfit you deem appropriate to introduce yourself to the public and judges. This can be your favorite outfit ever, your very personal style from which you think it displays your character best. Your outfit should be for the late summer/early autumn season and PG appropriate.
    • Please prepare a default pose, a walking animation and a pose set for about 40 – 60 seconds to present your styling. Do not worry, if you do not have runway modeling experience yet.
    • Please prepare in a notecard a short description, in which you explain, why you think the outfit represents your person best.
    • You do not need to give the notecard to anyone. We will explain in the rehearsal what to do with it.

WORKSHOPS (OPTIONAL)

• • • We are offering a basic workshop for those who have no runway modeling experience yet. We have scheduled two workshops to accommodate the different time zones you are from. 
    • The workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th, at 05:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 18th, 2019.  at 10:00 a.m. SLT.
    • Your participation in one of the workshops is optional. 
    • The workshops are conducted on voice, you will be required to be able to listen to SL voice.
    • The workshops are not open to the public but you may bring one (1) interpreter, if you require translation.

REHEARSALS (MANDATORY)

• • • You will receive a notecard with the walk order, choreography, landmark to the backstage area and further instructions on the late evening of Thursday, September 19th, 2019.
    • Rehearsals are scheduled for Friday, September 20th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m. SLT.
    • It is mandatory to participate at one of the both rehearsals, to be eligible to walk in the audition.
    • The rehearsals are conducted on voice, you will be required to be able to listen to SL voice.
    • The rehearsals are not open to the public but you may bring one (1) interpreter, if you require translation.
    • You are required to acquire a VPC device, which is used for the workshops, rehearsals, the audition and later in the pageant in all events.

THE AUDITION

• • • The audition is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. SLT and is open for public attendance.
    • All aspirants are required to be at the backstage area at around 09:15 a.m. SLT.
    • The audition results will be available immediately. Please keep your schedules free until around 12:00 p.m. SLT.

AFTER THE AUDITION

• • • The aspirants who are chosen to be official candidates to MR SL ♛ 2020 will receive instructions for the country selection and the further pageant schedule.
    • The aspirants who are not chosen to be official candidates may participate in the second audition without having to submit a new application. The second (and last) audition is scheduled for October 5th, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. SLT.
    • All aspirants will be offered a feedback session in which we offer our neutral expertise about their styling and performance in the audition. The feedback session is scheduled for Sunday, September 29th, 2019, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. SLT.
